Unravelling

Lately, I have been unraveling

-- consciously unraveling

Like each of these big things showed me clearly,

All the messy parts of my tapestry

that I'd looked over

-- creating illusions so people wouldn't see.

Well, this time,

I pulled them all apart.

I looked closely and saw

every messy knot

tangled with

every other messy knot,

And I yanked them open -

determined to return to the root

and start again.

So, here I am --

Completely unraveled.

A single soul with a web of threads

stretching from the core in every direction in space.

--raw and open.

Here I am,

soul bared,

sorting through each thread -

light and dark

fragile and sturdy

I am devastatingly and gloriously open

deciding how

I will re-ravel

my new,

improved

tapestry.
